Gifts of cash are an excellent way to provide The Salvation Army with the immediate funds necessary to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the people we serve. These donations include checks, money orders, and credit card donations, which can be given through our secured online donation site, through the mail, or even by phone.
The Salvation Army is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, therefore your qualifying donations are tax-deductible. You will receive an acknowledgement of all gifts you make.

While making a secured online donation, your gift can be designated for the benefit of a specific program or service, or for The Salvation Army's general use. You can specify where you want your money to go and how you would like it used at the time of your donation. Additionally, through our online form you can also make a gift in memory of someone, in honor of someone or even set up an ongoing gift.
The Salvation Army takes HUNGER seriously. We count on our generous donors to help sustain those in need.
With emergency food boxes, The Salvation Army offers the basics, including canned fruit, vegetables, protein and carbohydrates. The Salvation Army reaches out every day to help those in need with food.
Donations of milk, eggs, butter. flour, canned goods and packaged goods (not frozen) are always needed for our Hot Meals program and Food Pantry. Bring your donations Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 3:00 am at 560 Wooster Road West, Barberton, OH 44203.
This past year, more than 10 million caring citizens donated gently used items such as clothing, furniture, appliances and toys to The Salvation Army. Your tax-deductible contributions are then sold through our popular Family Stores around the country.
Proceeds from the sale of donated items help fund our Adult Rehabilitation Centers, which provide substance abusers and others struggling with various forms of life issues with the necessary tools to re-enter society and live productive lives.
Your donations help The Salvation Army continue their promise to "Do the Best" in the lives of others in communities throughout Ohio! All items donated are sold through our Salvation Army Family Thrift Stores.
