The Learning Zone professionals and volunteers strive to develop children and provide peace of mind to over-stretched parents by offering the stability, support and consistency every family needs to succeed.
The Salvation Army emphasizes serving children from challenging economic and societal backgrounds. When we began our Learning Zone initiative many said that it couldn't be done. Today, our Learning Zone centers serve more than 250 children and their families in the surrounding communities.
